A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
Scorebuilders assists physical therapists and physical therapist assistant students to prepare for the National Physical Therapy Examinations. Our innovative resources are designed to provide students with the best possible opportunity to pass the licensing exam on the first attempt. We have been refining this art for over three decades and are just as passionate today as the day we started. We sell more products and offer more review courses than any licensing company and are the recognized leader in our industry. At Scorebuilders, we have a singular belief: Better Products...Better Outcomes.
OUR HOME
The entire Scorebuilders’ team is 100% committed to your success. We are a physical therapist owned company located at 175 Innovation Way in Scarborough, Maine. This state-of-the-art building serves as the perfect incubator for our team to develop the most sophisticated products and courses on the market. In addition to our in-house team, we have an expansive network of course instructors and technological consultants.

OUR TEAM
Scott Giles
Scott Giles
Scott is the founder and President of Scorebuilders. He started Scorebuilders more than 30 years ago based on a strong desire to assist students to achieve their educational goals. He admits that he thinks about the licensing examination at levels that may border on unhealthy, but the results speak for themselves - the best licensing resources on this planet! Scott’s non-PT passions include golf, cycling, and the Maine coast. Explore Scott’s bio in the “Our Course Instructors” area.
Traci Giles
Traci Giles
Traci has been married to Scott for over 32 years and ‘fun fact’ they were one of those ‘PT class couples’! She has watched her husband take an idea and turn it into all that Scorebuilders is today. You can find Traci in the office, connecting with students and faculty, scheduling courses, supervising office staff and most importantly making sure that the official snack drawer is filled and that the ‘Chief of Security’, Cooper is happy!! Outside of Scorebuilders, Traci’s greatest passion is still being a mom to her adult children, Meg, Erin and Alex. She enjoys traveling, walking on the beach, and sunsets! Explore Traci’s bio in “Our Course Instructors’ area.
Sara Patstone
Sara Patstone
As the office manager, Sara is the first point of contact for many. While she handles the day to day functions of the office, Sara also answers the phones, processes orders, assists with billing, handles technical questions, and conquers numerous daily office procedures. Sara brings almost 10 years of knowledge to the inner workings of Scorebuilders and strives to provide support to everyone she comes in contact with. Chances are that you will speak with Sara when contacting our office, whether it be to place an order, ask a question or just share the news that you've passed the exam! Outside of Scorebuilders you can most likely find Sara at her local martial arts dojo training for her second degree black belt as well as enjoying Portland’s many award winning eateries.
Kim Rose
Kim Rose
Kim joined Scorebuilders as an intern in 2017 and enjoyed her role so much she decided to stay permanently as the Marketing and Project Manager. Nicole DiBiase
Nicole DiBiase
Nicole began working at Scorebuilders in 2018 by helping out during their very successful black Friday sale, and she just never left. This was her first foray back into the working world after taking a long hiatus to raise her three amazing children. She previously worked as a product development engineer in the paper industry. Nicole has a keen eye for detail, which comes in handy completing the various projects Scott throws her way. Outside of work Nicole enjoys singing, home brewing, camping, and hiking with her family.
Karen Loisel
Karen Loisel
Karen Loisel graduated from Simmons College in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science and Physical Therapy degree. She has a great amount of experience across many disciplines. After selling her physical therapy practice, she went on to receive her massage therapy license. Eventually she took a hiatus from work to raise her two children. Only returning to the world of physical therapy when Scorebuilders put out the word in 2018 for temporary project help. After that project was completed, she stayed on for the next project, then the next... she says she stays because the work is exciting and the people are amazing, but secretly it is all about Cooper ! The cutest, most best director of security dogs ever!
Kylie Rossborough
Kylie Rossborough
Kylie joined Scorebuilders as an intern in the Spring of 2020. She enjoyed her role so much that she decided to permanently join in 2021 as Marketing and Project Coordinator after graduating from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Marketing. When she’s not planning social media posts, sending email blasts, or coordinating with Student Ambassadors, Kylie enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her dogs to the beach, and searching for the best bagel and iced coffee duo in Southern Maine.
Cooper
Cooper
As the leader of Scorebuilders’ security team, Cooper is always on duty. He learned his trade as a rescue dog in Arkansas and agreed to a long term deal with Scorebuilders. His positive attitude and playful nature keeps us all smiling. Take a look at Cooper’s photo and try not to smile. Trust us, it is not happening! Thank you Cooper!
